Latest Poll Shows Ted Yoho As The Heavy Favorite
September 10, 2012 in News
Congressional candidate Ted Yoho is the overwhelming favorite to win the November race, according to the latest statewide numbers released last Wednesday by StPetePolls.org.
The survey of more than 10,000 Florida residents was conducted Saturday through Monday. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
There were 668 responses to the Congress District 3 race, and 56 percent of those favored Yoho, the Gainesville veterinarian who upset incumbent Cliff Stearns in the August primary. Democrat J.R. Gaillot polled 31 percent and 13 percent were undecided.

416 of the responses were in Clay County who holds a 6 to 1 advantage of republicans. Poll is skewed heavily. Gaillot is not to be underestimated
Hmmm…Clay County thinking is what got Cliff Stearns unelected. Could it be that even if the poll is skewed heavily in Clay Co. that it doesn’t matter, because the overwhelming number of votes in the rest of the counties will be going for Ted Yoho as well? Gaillot, while a nice enough individual, does not represent the wishes of the majority of Democrat and Republican voters in Dist. 3. He may tout himself as a Blue Dog Democrat (at least that’s what he says when speaking in the western neck of the woods of the district), but will find himself falling into lockstep with Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz if he miraculously wound up in DC.
